Mohammad Sangchap

Mohammad (Nima) is currently a PhD candidate in the Inorganic Materials Science (IMS) department at the University of Twente. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and his master’s degree in Micro and Nano Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) Engineering. His current research focuses on fabricating high-performance piezoelectric-based MEMS mass sensors, with an emphasis on optimizing mass sensitivity and quality factor. Together with other partners in the OBSeRVeD consortium, he aims to implement affinity layers on these sensors for the early detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in poultry farms.
